Chartered Financial Analyst from (ICFAI) and SEBI Registered Investment Advisor (RIA Code: INA200009582)
Certified Financial Transitionist®️ (CeFT®️).
Ratnasri Karra has rich experience in banking and financial management. She has been an active financial advisor for the last 15 years.
She is passionate about empowering women to take ownership of their financial lives. Her dream of helping women realise goals they sometimes cannot articulate or bury under family responsibilities translated into her venture Her-Mony in 2013. “I wanted to create a space where women could freely talk about creating the life they want and open their minds to finding a way to achieve their goals – often despite odds.”
In the course of conversations with her clients, Ratnasri also realised that financial investment cannot be done in a vacuum: it is inextricably linked to life events and while clients need to prepare for major transitions such as marriage, children, death, retirement, these transitions are especially challenging for women. This led her to certify under the Financial Transition Institute in helping clients successfully navigate through transitions. While her team at Her-Mony educates, coaches, and advises clients to make them active investors, she additionally guides clients as a Certified Financial Transitionist to bring about financial transformation by changing the way women approach, think, and transact with their money. As she likes to point out: “Often it is we who create the barriers around us! We need to support ourselves first – and as women, we need to build our family/friends to learn to support us.”
After marriage, two kids, and a 15-year hiatus from professional life, Ratnasri, a CFA, jumped into doing what she loves best. Her-Mony articulates her belief in using financial advisory services to positively impact the lives of women of all ages and walks of life. Over the last decade, a growing clientele has made her dream bigger; she now has a select team of women financial professionals bringing a collective experience of 15 years between them, as Team Her-Mony spreads its reach and impact.
Ratnasri is a Chartered Financial Analyst from (ICFAI), SEBI Registered Investment Advisor (RIA Code: INA200009582), and Certified Financial Transitionist®️ (CeFT®️).
Beyond certifications and recognitions, Ratnasri counts achieving work-life balance, designing a home based on sustainability principles, and seeing clients progress steadily from goal to goal, as some of her most cherished achievements.
Rohini Bhan is an optimist who believes in the art of the possible. Her dream is to increase India’s market penetration from the present 8% to 20%. She believes reaching out to the vast untapped segment of blue-collar workers, among others, is the way forward. Her special focus is today’s young career-driven professionals, “the future pillars of India’s economy,” who she feels must be mobilised and encouraged to take charge of their finances.
Bhan believes an awareness of one’s financial standing is crucial to achieving financial security. Effective communication is Rohini’s secret weapon – a tool she has sharpened in her parallel life as owner-manager of Fahrenheit Communications, which specialises in brand identity solutions.
Rohini is equally passionate about philanthropy and bettering the lives of the underprivileged – and is willing to go out on a limb for every cause she espouses, be it engineering a life-saving heart surgery against all odds for a 14-year-old at Narayan Hrudayalaya, or more.
